Travels Far Flung Mexico BlueSky Consulting Services Projects and Histories Water Politics Team Bios

The first foreign country I ever visited was Mexico, and for too long I took it for granted just how exotic and fascinating Mexico can be for visitors willing to scratch the surface. Mexico is extremely diverse, and quite exotic compared to all the other places in the world that I have been which includes Europe, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. I began running rivers in Mexico in 1978, and since that time I have run 12 different streams and guided rafting trips in Chiapas, Veracruz, Jalisco, San Luis Potosi, Sonora and Chihuahua. I love Mexico for its wonderful topography and people; I plan to return again and again, perhaps to someday retire and live happily ever after south of the Tropic of Frijoles.
